Online studies with on-campus sessions
Did you know that most programs at the Sámi University of Applied Sciences are offered as online studies combined with on-campus sessions at Diehtosiida in Guovdageaidnu?
Online studies and sessions make it possible for students to live wherever they want while completing their education. However, students must attend mandatory on-campus sessions.
Online classes take place in a digital classroom where students can communicate with teachers and fellow students. The online classroom also provides access to lectures and assignments. If preferred, students may also attend teaching sessions physically on campus.
On-campus sessions are usually held at the Sámi University of Applied Sciences, typically about once a month lasting a week. Attendance is mandatory. Each program page on this website includes an overview of how sessions are organized.
