Bachelor in Sámi Social Studies
In Sápmi, as in other societies, there is a need to strengthen the understanding of one’s own rights and perspectives related to land and resource management. As an Indigenous people, the Sámi live as a minority within the states they inhabit, which often creates challenges in relation to the majority society. To address these needs, a new bachelor’s program in Sámi Social Studies is being established, specifically designed to reflect Sámi perspectives and challenges.
